Science classes can also be a place to address DE&I! We will present the current state of these topics in our senior WHS elective, Biotechnology and Personalized Genetics. We will feature a lesson on cancer and genetics, taught through a social justice lens, as an exemplar. We will break into small groups to brainstorm how DE&I can be incorporated into some of the science units you teach in your classes.
